So, I've decided to post before I leave for India, simply because my page looks so empty without any posts.
Right now I'm finishing up some homework, studying for the midterms I'm taking early next week and making lists of what I should bring to India. I'm also rushing downstairs to switch clothes from the washer to dryer every 50 minutes or so.
The floor of my room is almost invisible underneath:
a) my suitcase
b) stacks of folded clothes
c) things i think I'll need
Tomorrow, we're going to Black Mountain to meet with the other members of the group one last time before the trip. Then, I believe we are coming home and I get more time to pack and study. Joy.
I'm trying to convince my grandfather to let me borrow his netbook, so I can blog better while in India. I plan to ask him again as soon as I think to call and it's not 11:30 at night. Wish me luck!
Speaking of it being 11:30 at night... I think it might be wise for me to either go to bed or at least get off the computer.

Okay, Miss Amanda, we've got you covered here in District 7670. I will be posting this blog address on the District webpage and in the District Newsletter. That means that you will have some Rotarians following your adventures.
Have an absolutely wonderful trip. We look forward to hearing from you.
Regards, DG Carol King
Amanda,
I'm glad that you're keeping a blog about your trip. I'm excited to heare about your adventures, and see some of the sights that you see, by way of pictures.
And I agree, you should have a small laptop to make your homework easier!
